Mindfulness, guided breathing, body scan, loving-kindness, yoga nidra, and pranayama. Practices you can keep between appointments.
A comprehensive first meeting looks at mental health history and current symptoms, and works toward a clinical understanding. Later visits review progress and adjust care, including medication when that is appropriate.
The MANN app includes familiar questionnaires — depression (PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7), sleep, mood, PTSD (PCL-5), and OCD (Y-BOCS). Scores are indicators for reflection. They are not a confirmed diagnosis and they do not start treatment by themselves.
The app also holds psychoeducation: neuroplasticity, the gut–brain link, witness awareness, and recorded lectures such as introductions to psychiatry, depression, and anxiety. Reading them is education. It is not a treatment order.
